Frequently Asked Questions
Construction Techniques
Can I receive the ground study report of the Soyak Mavişehir Project?
Anyone may receive the ground study report regardless of buyer or not.
How is the earthquake safety of the buildings?
The Soyak Mavişehir buildings have been designed in compliance with the earthquake regulations. Separate drilling works and complete geophysical studies (resistance - auto resistance surveys and seismic breakage measurements) are carried out under each block. We have ITU certified ground study reports and the works are carried out in cooperation with the advisory of counselor lecturers from ITU. The construction system consists of a jet - graut / fore pole application. All works will be subject to a monitoring program according to the Euro Code 7 standard.
May I gather information on the construction techniques? The construction system of the apartments (Tunneling Mould)
Our civil works are carried out via the Radiant Base and Tunneling Mould system. These systems are also applied in countries under frequent earthquake risk and that implement advance technology. Excellent results are achieved. The tunneling system features a building carrier system that consists of shields and bases, which means that the walls of the rooms are in fact carrier shields. The tunneling mould system builds all walls and floors of an apartment as a single element. Although quite expensive, the system which is also used for skyscrapers is highly safe. Enhancing the flexibility of the building structure during a possible bilateral earthquake, this system offers safety against the earthquake impacts at the highest level.
Base system (Jet Graut + Radiate Base)
The building bases are selected as poles and will be built in the forms of 80cm diameter poles pointing downward at a height of 35m. In addition, in order to achieve an even more stable ground, the poles will be concrete injected to the floor between the poles with the jet graut method to form concrete poles with 80cm diameter and 25m height. Thus, the building load will be put on a stable ground to ensure required measures against the risk of humidity on the existing ground of 25meters. This pole system will be merged with the upper radiate base system. The building will be erected on this base with the tunneling mould system. The tunneling mould system is the most earthquake resistant construction application among the systems currently in use. In the tunneling mould system, the building is erected completely as a single concrete piece. Consequently, any impacts caused during a possible earthquake are resisted by these concrete shields.
